Karen Mulzac Watkins is a distinguished professional and community leader, known for her contributions in business, public service, and nonprofit development. A proud graduate of Penn State University, Karen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and an MBA, which have been instrumental in shaping her multifaceted career.

Karen currently serves in supply chain management and strategic sourcing for JLL, one of the largest commercial real estate companies in the world. Prior to joining JLL, she spent nearly seven years with CBRE in global strategic sourcing, where she developed innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and drive value.

In addition to her corporate achievements, Karen is deeply committed to community empowerment and service. She is the co-founder of Community Outreach Resources, Inc. (C.O.R.), a nonprofit organization dedicated to building thriving communities through resource accessibility and support programs.

Karen’s dedication to service has been recognized at the highest levels. In 2024, she received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Service Award from the Corporation for National and Community Service and the Office of the President of the United States, Joseph Biden. She was also honored with the President’s Volunteer Service Award (Gold) in 2023, reflecting her ongoing commitment to making a positive impact through AmeriCorps and Points of Light initiatives.

From 2020 to 2024, Karen served as a board member for Gwinnett County Public Schools, where she played a pivotal role in shaping educational policies and fostering student success in one of Georgia’s largest school districts.
