Karen Mulzac Watkins Appointed Vice President of Workforce Development at Greater Eastside Alliance Inc

Snellville, GA – The Greater Eastside Alliance Inc. (GEA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in partnership with the Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce (GECC), is proud to announce the appointment of Karen Mulzac Watkins as the Vice President of Workforce Development. With her outstanding background in business, public service, and nonprofit leadership, Karen will lead initiatives designed to bridge the gap between workforce readiness and sustainable economic development across the Greater Eastside of Georgia.

Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and an MBA from Penn State University. She has served in pivotal roles in supply chain management and strategic sourcing with global corporations such as JLL and CBRE, where she implemented innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency. As the co-founder of Community Outreach Resources, Inc., Karen has consistently worked to build stronger communities by increasing access to essential resources. Her dedication earned her the President’s Lifetime Achievement Service Award in 2024, underscoring her legacy of service and impact.
